For 12 years I was an academic psychologist who had a significant weight problem… until I realised that I could apply my understanding of human psychology to myself. I lost close to 9 stone and learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t in the world of losing weight and getting fit. I realised what a gift being physically fit and strong was and I no longer felt the need to be the smallest possible version of a human, shrinking so as not to take up any space. I joined an incredible CrossFit community that taught me the value of pushing hard and started coaching. I qualified as a nutritionist and an Olympic Weightlifting coach. My real passion is helping my clients to develop strength starting with their mindset.
